A story of heartbreak, loss, redemption and second chances: Pocketful of Sand from New York Times bestselling author M. Leighton
I don’t know what makes a great love story. Is it that instant attraction when boy meets girl? The passionate kisses and the fairy-tale ending? Or is it a lifetime of tragedy, paid in advance, for a few stolen moments of pure bliss? The pain and the suffering that, in the end, you can say are worth it for having found the missing piece of your soul?
The answer is: I don’t know. I don’t know what makes a great love story. I only know what makes my love story. I only know that finding Cole when I did, when Emmy and I were running from a nightmare, was the only thing that saved me. That saved us. He was more broken than I was, but somehow we took each other’s shattered pieces and made a whole. If that is what makes a great love story, if that is what makes an epic romance, then mine…ours is the greatest of them all.
Contains material that some may find disturbing. Not intended for readers under the age of 18.
“She’s beauty for my ashes. And I’m hope for her heartache.”—Cole Danzer
My mind has been blown!!!
This book made me cry, laugh, love hard, just had me emotionally all over the place.
You want to feel, READ this book!
M. Leighton does it yet again. I mean I knew she would but like seriously, she just took it to another level with this book.
From the beginning of the book I fell hard for Cole Danzer. As I read further, his mysterious nature drew me in even further to the point that I wanted to be just like Eden & find out why he is the way he is.
Eden...from the 1st page, she captured my heart. Her love for her daughter Emmy as a single mother emotionally hit me hard. She will and does do anything to make her daughter have a normal childhood. She sacrifices everything for Emmy just like any Mom will do to protect her child.
Love is what this book is. You feel all the different kinds of love: angry, sad & heart wrenching coming off the pages as you read this story.
He 's caputring me.And I'm captured.He wants me.And I'm all his.
- Eden
The story flowed and I liked how you could not figure out what turn it was going to take.
Cole & Eden learn to trust each other and as well as trust themselves to let go and open up.
When their relationship begins, it becomes super hot! Talk about needing to take a cold shower several times after these hot scenes Michelle created! Damn!
Hot man cooking Bacon will never be looked at the same way again with hot being on fire and I am totally fine with that because who doesn't love BACON???
Especially when Cole is involved!
I did not want this book to end... and well without any spoilers, you will need to read this book to find out whether you get your happy ending or not.
Do you have to have a Happy Ending?
Do you want a twist that leaves you wondering "What if?"
Go get this TOP MUST READ 2015!
I seriously can't get enough of this book!
And remember.... You can make your destiny what you want it to be as long as you believe.
Sand Castles will always now hold a special place to me after reading this heart felt amazing book!
